Who Ben is
Official site copy calls Ben the Frog a local villager and Foxy’s friend. Some Daedalic press describes him as a distant relative she stays with. Those two ideas can live together in a small village story — family-by-map, friend-by-choice — and the playable narration is the version that counts. Until the full game’s text is public, treat him as the local who knows the slower life Foxy does not.
He is a frog in the same way Foxy is a fox: a wooden-play-set person, not a wildlife documentary. Deluxe extras even include 3D-print models of Foxy and Ben, which tells you the studio sees them as a pair on the poster, not a heroine plus a mascot.
Why the story waits to introduce him
The opening is Foxy versus the village. If Ben arrived in sentence one, the geese would be scenery. By making you sit with her annoyance first — in the dusty loft, in the first awkward day — the later friendship has somewhere to land. That is also why this wiki refuses to dump his entire arc. The demo walkthrough will mention him when the demo does. The full game launches September 16, 2026; we will expand this page with anything the finished scenes actually show.

Ben as a diorama object
Expect frog-green wood, rounder shapes, and scenes where he shares a table, a path, or a shop counter with Foxy. When a frog figure is pale, it is unfinished content: a socket or a piece. When it is colored and animated, it is Ben (or a village frog used as texture — zoom before you assume).

Deluxe buyers get extra cursor colors named “Foxy Orange” and “Ben Green.” That is flavor, not a gameplay split. There is no Ben campaign. Woodo is single-player.
Friendship, not a romance flag
Press language is “unlikely friendship,” “connection,” “coming of age.” Play it that way. The game is aimed at comfort. It is not a dating sim and not a tragedy-bait tearjerker, even if adult Foxy’s voice has ache in it. If you need a tone check, the review page talks about who the demo is for.
Merch and extras
The official site points at Daedalic’s GetShirts store for a Foxy plush, with a Ben plush “joining the shop very soon” at the time of writing. Deluxe / Endless Summer includes printable 3D models of both. None of that is required to finish a diorama. Links live on community and editions.
