Woodo release date

Woodo launches September 16, 2026. Daedalic Entertainment and Tiny Monks Tales confirmed the date in August 2026 with the Voices of Woodo trailer. If a random social post still says “summer 2026” or “TBA,” it is stale. This page is the wiki’s date board.

There is no mobile SKU at launch. The official FAQ says phones would force a quality cut the team is not willing to take yet. There is no physical disc planned for day one; energy is going into the digital build.

Woodo is single-player. You will not find a second-player drop-in on any of these stores.

Voices of Woodo — September 16 launch announcement

Demo right now

You do not have to wait until September 16 to touch the toy. The demo is playable on Steam, PS5, Xbox, and Switch. It includes an introduction and two full dioramas. Use the demo walkthrough if a loft chest ruins your evening.

The demo has been standing since August 2025, with a wider console push around Steam Next Fest in June 2026. It is the best $0 answer to “is this just a trailer?”

Languages

Steam lists 19 interface languages. Full audio at launch: English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. Traditional Chinese and several others are interface and subtitles only. English Foxy is Miriam-Teak Lee.

Time zones and “when can I play?”

Expect a global digital unlock on September 16 in each store’s local logic. Steam’s own page counted down by days ahead of launch. Console stores may stagger by region by a few hours. If your midnight does not match a friend’s, that is store policy, not a missing SKU. We will note any official unlock-time post on news.

Hardware reality check

PC minimum is Windows 10 64-bit, Ryzen 5 3400G or i5-9400, 4 GB RAM, RX 560 / GTX 1050 Ti class, 2.7 GB disk. That is modest, but it is not a laptop-from-2014 target. Full table: system requirements. Steam Deck is playable with early support; do not assume Verified on day one.

After the date passes

When Woodo is out, this page will flip from countdown to “what launched” and point at the first patch. Until then, do not write as if the full game is already on your SSD. The demo is here. The rest arrives September 16.

What the date does not promise

September 16 is a digital unlock, not a midnight miracle in every time zone. Stores stagger. There is no physical box on day one and no phone SKU. The demo may stay up as a standing slice; we will only write that it vanished if a store tile actually disappears.

Waiting for Steam Deck notes is allowed. Pre-order is a price, not a duty. Check system requirements if your laptop is the question, and news if you are hunting a patch sentence after launch morning.
