Pre-order Woodo — or play the demo first

Woodo launches September 16, 2026. Pre-order windows are already open on the stores that posted them. This page is the shopping checklist, not a coupon blog. Compare SKUs on editions, confirm the date on release date, and grab store URLs from stores.

Play the demo before you spend. Two dioramas plus an intro will tell you if nested cupcakes make you happy. A June 2026 preview tallied 99% positive demo impressions across hundreds of Steam demo reviews. That is the demo talking, not the full game. Still: it is a better signal than a trailer.

Where pre-order actually lives

Nintendo Switch / Switch 2	eShop listing. Switch 1 purchase includes a free Switch 2 upgrade. Switch 2 adds Joy-Con 2 mouse.

Announced list at the date reveal was $19.99 / €19.99 Standard and $24.99 / €24.99 Deluxe, with some console pre-order windows at 20% off and deluxe-for-standard-price. The live tile wins. We will not freeze a sale in this paragraph after it dies.

No mobile SKU. No physical disc on day one. Official FAQ: the team would like physical later; energy is going into the digital build. Merch (Foxy plush, upcoming Ben plush) is a separate GetShirts shop — community.

Standard vs Deluxe, one screen

• Standard — the dioramas, Foxy’s story, assistance, launch languages.
• Deluxe / Endless Summer — Standard plus soundtrack (34 or 39 tracks depending on the document), printable Foxy and Ben models, map/sticker templates, Foxy Orange and Ben Green cursor colors, a thank-you map sticker. Xbox names a Supporter Pack and Soundtrack Pack in the bundle.

Nothing in Deluxe is required to finish a room. If you want the album in your headphones, read soundtrack first. If you only want more dioramas than the demo, Standard is the honest SKU.

Cross-save and gifts

There is no announced cross-progression between Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. Start the loft on the platform you will finish it on. Cloud saves help inside one garden (Steam Cloud, Xbox cloud, PlayStation depending on settings). They do not teleport a table to a Switch.

Gifting Deluxe when someone wanted Standard is a common cozy-game mistake. Say the SKU name in the note. Family Sharing on Steam follows Valve’s rules, including the usual “owner is playing” lock.

Refunds follow the store: Steam’s two-hour window, console region policies, Nintendo’s stricter eShop stance. That is why the demo exists.

A pre-order sequence that does not waste money

1. Install the demo from stores. Use Getting Started and Controls if the camera feels slippery.
2. If the click does nothing for you, buy nothing. Read the review if you want a second opinion.
3. If the click landed, pick a home platform like a kettle: one is enough.
4. Confirm a PC can orbit a dense table: system requirements. Deck is playable with early support, not a promise of Verified.
5. Choose Standard or Deluxe on editions.
6. Bookmark news for day-one patch notes (rumble, Deck, any soundtrack DLC sold separately).

Woodo is single-player. You are not pre-ordering a season pass. You are pre-ordering a wooden summer. If your midnight on September 16 does not match a friend’s, that is store stagger, not a missing SKU.
