Woodo Standard and Deluxe Editions

Woodo ships as a premium puzzle, not a free-to-play live service. You buy a SKU once. The question is whether you want the soundtrack and the thank-you extras. This page compares the Standard Edition and the Deluxe / Endless Summer bundle using Daedalic’s August 2026 breakdown and Xbox store listings. Store URLs: stores. Date and platforms: release date.

Prices move. Console pre-order windows have already shown 20% off and a deluxe-for-standard-price deal. Xbox tiles have also shown Standard near $15.99 and Endless Summer near $19.99 during a sale window. Treat the numbers below as the announced list, then look at your store tile before you click. The live shopping sequence is on pre-order.

Standard Edition

Announced list: $19.99 / £15.99 / €19.99 / ¥2,790

You get the game. That is the wooden dioramas, Foxy’s story, assistance, and the launch-day language set. If you played the demo and only want more rooms, Standard is the honest SKU.

Deluxe / Endless Summer Edition

Announced list: $24.99 / £19.99 / €24.99 / ¥3,630
Pre-order note: some regions sold deluxe at standard price before launch. Xbox listed an Endless Summer bundle with the soundtrack pack and supporter pack as add-ons.

Daedalic’s contents list:

  • The full game
  • Original soundtrack — 34 tracks in the Gematsu rundown; Xbox copy has said 39 songs. Expect a long Don Roberts album either way. We will lock the track count to the Steam DLC page after it is public.
  • 3D models of Foxy and Ben, ready to print as figurines
  • 2D print templates — a village map poster and a sticker set
  • Two extra cursor-hand colors: “Foxy Orange” and “Ben Green”
  • A thank-you sticker on the in-game map

Xbox’s Endless Summer blurb also names a Supporter Pack. Functionally you are paying about five dollars more for audio, printables, and cosmetic cursor paint. Nothing in that list is required to finish a diorama.

What deluxe does not include

  • No extra campaign
  • No second-player mode (Woodo is single-player)
  • No day-one physical box
  • No guaranteed merch plush — plushes are a separate GetShirts shop, see community

If you want the music in your headphones on a walk, deluxe is easy to justify. If you never print a PDF and never notice cursor color, save the five dollars.

Pre-order and upgrade notes

  • Console pre-order — Daedalic mentioned a 20% discount on console pre-orders around the date announcement. Check the live tile; those windows expire.
  • Switch 1 → Switch 2 — free upgrade if you buy the Switch version. That is a platform perk, not a deluxe perk. Details on release date.
  • Demo — free on all announced platforms that carry it. It does not require a pre-order.

How to choose in one minute

  1. Play the demo. If the click does nothing for you, buy nothing. Read the review if you want a second opinion.
  2. If you loved the click and ignore OSTs, take Standard.
  3. If you loved the click and already like Don Roberts’ tone — or you want Foxy/Ben printables — take Deluxe.
  4. Confirm system requirements on PC before you gift a Steam key to a laptop that still struggles in character-select screens of unrelated games.
  5. Buy from the store you actually play on, using stores, so Cloud saves and achievements stay in the right garden.

After September 16, if a soundtrack DLC is sold separately, this page will add a “buy the OST later” line. Until then, deluxe is the only announced bundle that includes the album.

For who Foxy and Ben are, not how to print them, see Foxy and Ben the Frog.

If you already own Standard on launch morning and later want the album, wait to see whether Daedalic sells the soundtrack as a standalone add-on. Buying deluxe twice is not a feature. Gift copies should mention which SKU you meant — “Woodo” in a chat window is how someone ends up without Ben Green.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is in the Woodo deluxe edition?

The game, the soundtrack, printable Foxy and Ben models, map/sticker templates, extra cursor colors, and a thank-you map sticker.

Is deluxe required?

No. Standard is the full puzzle. Deluxe is music and keepsakes.

How much does Woodo cost?

Announced list is $19.99 standard and $24.99 deluxe. Console pre-order discounts have appeared; check your store.

Does deluxe add extra dioramas?

Not in the announced contents. Extra scenes are a full-game question, not a deluxe-only dungeon.
