Woodo PC System Requirements Guide

Woodo looks like a toy, but it is a real-time 3D scene with lighting, particles, and a camera you will zoom until the grain is ugly. Steam’s published requirements are modest, not “any laptop.” This page copies the Steam table, then adds Deck and console notes so you do not have to tab out mid-wishlist. Pair it with editions and stores.

PC — minimum

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G / Intel Core i5-9400
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 560 (4 GB) / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB)
  • DirectX: 11
  • Storage: 2700 MB

If your machine sits under that GPU line, do not argue with the demo. Download the demo and watch the frame time while you orbit a dense table. A slideshow camera makes Controls feel broken when they are not.

  • OS: Windows 11 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X / Intel Core i5-12400F
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
  • DirectX: 12
  • Storage: 2700 MB

Recommended is “quiet 1080p with headroom,” not ray-traced luxury. Woodo should not need a 4070. If you already play modern indie 3D comfortably, you are fine.

What the numbers mean in practice

CPU: The listed chips are six-core class from 2019. A dual-core ultrabook from the same era is a maybe. Background Chrome is the real enemy at 4 GB RAM — close it.

GPU: 4 GB VRAM is the actual floor. Shared-memory iGPUs vary wildly. If Steam says your Intel UHD is below minimum, believe it until the demo proves otherwise.

Disk: 2.7 GB is tiny. This is not a 120 GB live-service client. An SSD is still kinder to scene loads than a 5400 RPM leftover drive.

DirectX 11 vs 12: Minimum is 11, recommended is 12. That usually means the game will run on 11 with fewer niceties. Do not buy a Windows 10 license solely for Woodo if you are already on 11.

Steam Deck

Tiny Monks Tales called Deck playable with early support when the demo launched. Touchscreen was not implemented. That is not a Verified badge. Expect to use trackpads or a Bluetooth mouse. After September 16, if Valve or the studio posts a compatibility note, it will land on news.

TDP: a 15 W Deck should hold a cozy puzzle. If it does not, the problem is more likely a software path than raw power.

Consoles

You do not need a requirements table for PS5, Xbox Series, or Switch. You need to know which stick you own:

  • PS5 / Xbox Series — the natural big-screen way to play with a pad. 4K listing on Xbox is a store capability, not a promise that every wood splinter is 4K.
  • Switch 1 — playable; zoom more. Free upgrade to Switch 2 if you buy this version.
  • Switch 2 — mouse controls via Joy-Con 2. Best console approximation of PC.

See release date for SKU notes and Controls for how those sticks orbit.

Accessibility-adjacent settings

There is no official color-blind itemized report yet. Pale-versus-painted wood is the main readability trick; if that contrast fails you, raise effects volume and use assistance — puzzle tips explains both. Camera sensitivity lives in settings; lower it on a pad before you lower difficulty.

Gift and laptop checklist

  1. Run the demo for fifteen minutes with the camera moving.
  2. Watch CPU/GPU thermals if the laptop sounds like a takeoff.
  3. Only then buy Standard or Deluxe on editions.
  4. If the gift is for a Switch, you do not need this table at all.

Woodo launches September 16, 2026. Requirements can bump in a day-one patch. If they do, this page changes the same day we see the Steam change.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Can my PC run Woodo?

If you have a GTX 1050 Ti / RX 560 class GPU, 4 GB RAM, and Windows 10 64-bit, you meet minimum. Run the demo to confirm.

How big is Woodo?

About 2.7 GB on PC according to Steam.

Does Woodo run on Steam Deck?

Playable with early support. No polished touchscreen path was in the demo notes.

Do consoles have extra requirements?

No. You need the console itself. Switch 2 adds mouse controls; Switch 1 still plays the game.
